Daily morning exercises

Our system consists of training that is done a certain times of the day.  TCM teaches us that our body's energy has a rhythm and as our Qi/energy flows through our meridians, different organs as described in TCM become more active.  Essentially, energy meridians correspond to a specific time period.  More on that if there is interest.

Day and night themselves are a cycles.  Yin and Yang to be precise.  To optimize our results and achieve a desired alchemy, we coincide our specific training and methods of cultivation with out own internal rhythm and the rhythm of nature itself.

Morning is the beginning of Yang and before our neigong we wake the body up an prepare it with some of the exercises shown by Sifu Garry Hearfield below.

Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.

I have trained in quite a few different martial arts such as Wing Chun, Jujitsu and some more esoteric ones.  My highest rank in an art was 5th degree black belt.  I'm not here to talk about those systems but it helps to have a little background I guess.  As I got older I got more interested in the esoteric side of things and became interested in magick, sorcery and meditation.  To this day I meditate for hours.  I have become unbalanced and must give more attention to the physical training as Yang develops Yin and Yin develops Yang.

After years of practice and who knows how many initiations I awakened my Kundalini.  It is not fully risen but I have found that once you go so far there is no turning back.  I had a very troubled youth and was caught up in crime, drugs and violence.  I have been involved in things that took me down a dark path.  It's not a good idea to do powerful spiritual work without guidance when your in a dark place as sometimes it can make things a lot worse.

When I met Sifu Gary Hearfield I was in a bad place.  Sifu did not judge me and has been a supportive guide and teacher through possibly some of the worst times in my life.  I consider Sifu Gary as a family member and I feel inside it is my calling to learn from him and I believe we were supposed to meet.

Thank you Sifu for all you have been to me and for the knowledge you have given freely.  I will train and not waste these treasures.

I would like to add a disclaimer that anything I add to this blog is my own opinion and where concerning Burning Palm may not necessarily be accurate or true.  I am not a Sifu in this art myself so it's only right to say that upfront.  Of course my teacher will make corrections if any stand out.
