There are a number of terms or exercises that I may mention that will be covered in other posts. I'm using methods from old style Kung Fu and modern training.
Day one
I call it day one although it isn't. I am extremely sore as I have started to incorporate weight training into my regime and not adapted yet. Keeping it simple, only compound movements and using 5x5.
This morning I did shaking practice and that really helped warm up my muscles and get me ready. I did my arm swings and also and did 15 minutes of HIIT using a kettlebell. I did not do my winds meditation and must admit I haven't for a while. I'd like to get my form perfect. My morning 108 solar nei kung was done with a candle as I can't get to the true sunrise. Could feel my Dantian nicely. Ran out of time to do claw bag and dragon pearl so will have to do when I get home later.
Midday training was a little rushed as I start work in the afternoon. I have very limited space to do my 5 shadows on the bag so it really is just a conditioning exercise. I have to train footwork etc in my front room.

Just finished my night med. Am very tired. Sometimes now when I am meditating it's like I have fallen asleep and then when I come to again and carry on and finish quite a bit of time has passed. Doesn't happen all the time, depends how deep I go. I got to go sleep now.

Haven't updated in a few days but training hard. I'm being careful as I have injured my shoulder in the past and do not want to push too much. Adding weight training has really changed things, still adapting.
Each day I am doing three sets of 36 reps of roller bar, claw bag and dragon pearl exercises. I have noticed that I need longer breaks since hitting the gym as well and I am much hungrier than normal. Right now I am cutting as well so my diet is very clean.
Just about to do my evening meditation. I have been so tired that I go somewhere else while meditating past couple of weeks. Getting very deep in my meditations.
In the next few days I am going to make posts explaining the different Burning Palm exercises for level one.
In addition to Burning Palm training, WBBM has different calisthenic workouts and weight training methods. In the past I have completed 108 FIT with great results. I will also post about that soon as well.

Update on last week or so. I have been training daily just one rest day but alternating training type. My strength at the gym has sky rocketed and I'm getting stronger each session. It won't be long before I am back to were I was ten years ago. It's pretty amazing actually.
I have dropped some weight but increased lean mass as well. My diet is clean. No cheats and no bad food.
I am taking it easy with the dragon pearl and claw bag. Considering doing alternate days and having a rest day in between. I have had injures in the past and I find that the high rep although easy does tax my from delts.
I realize the mistake I made a year ago was I over trained and was not taking in nearly enough calories. This is not such an issue if you are optimum weight but for my frame I was way to heavy. Going to concentrate on leaning down around 155/160 pounds (currently nearly 240).
